Biographical Info:
I am a freelancer currently based in India and specialising in areas of the Asia-Pacific. My past work experience includes heading the Travel and Sports Desk of The Indian Express for two years, and an internship at CNN's South Asia bureau. My most recent assignments include an e-book on Mumbai (formerly Bombay) for Weissmann.com (a division of Cahners USA Publishing Inc.) and a 'Sydney During the Olympics' travel guide for Sharpman.com. Besides this, I have written several travel, cuisine, culture, vintage automobile and sports features on India, Dubai and Nepal for Discovery.com, The Times of India, The Hindu, Rediff.com and Mid Day, and also edit India's monthly legal journal - From the Lawyers Collective. I stood first in the University of Pune in the post graduate Communications and Journalism degree exam, and am currently studying law.
