Goh Bee Lian was born and bred in Singapore, and has lived most of her life there, interspersed with travels to many countries including one-year stints in China and in Germany. She has held jobs in trading, aviation publishing, oil-field equipment, automobile, airline and travel-related IT companies, and currently works free-lance as a writer and translator.
