Biographical Info:

Bjarne Madsen is a Danish journalist, born in 1952. After 30 years work at Danish newspapers as a journalist, sub-editor, chief sub-editor and sports-editor, he decided to move to Thailand to live. He settled down on Phuket, the biggest island of Thailand. Before the decision to move permanently, he had visited Thailand several times and had fallen in love with the country and its people. Bjarne Madsen has been travelling a lot in many parts of the World in his career as a journalist in Denmark. He has written several articles for Danish newspapers, magazines and the Danish press agency The Liberal Press. Now he works as a freelance journalist and makes articles - text and photos - from Thailand to Denmark. [Danish] Bjarne Madsen er dansk journalist, født i 1952. Efter 30 år på danske aviser som journalist, redaktionssekretær, redaktionschef og sportsredaktør, valgte han at flytte til Thailand for at bosætte sig på landets største ø, Phuket. Forinden havde han været i Thailand en række gange og fået stor kærlighed til både landet og thailænderne. I sin journalistiske karriere i Danmark har Bjarne Madsen rejst meget i store dele af verden. Han har også skrevet adskillige rejseartikler til både danske aviser, magasiner og det danske pressebureau Den Liberale Presse. Bjarne Madsen virker nu som freelance journalist og leverer artikler - både tekst og fotos - fra Thailand til Danmark.
