Chriswan Sungkono
Biographical Info:
Born and based in Bandung, I have been writing personal essays and travel stories since 2003. I am physics engineer by training, but now occupy myself being an occasional science teacher and freelance journalist. Whenever opportunity comes in, I just can’t help spending my free time traveling around Indonesia to taste new foods, learn the vernaculars, attend cultural events, and scuba dive. I truly enjoy talking to new unlike-minded people I bump into on the road, forging precious friendships along the way.
