Description:

The restaurant is located inside the Santushti Shopping Complex in Chanakyapuri - an elegant shopping centre specializing in designer wear, silks, pashmina and jewellery. Basil & Thyme is extremely popular in the city's diplomatic and political circles, and embassy and ministry officials are always dropping in for lunch. The cuisine is Italian and Continental. Chef Bhicoo Manekshaw changes her menu every 90 days, so there's no saying what you'll get when you're there. Expect creative concoctions like tomato-orange soup, leek tarts, chicken liver pate and mint soufflé. Closed for dinner.
