Canopy, which opened in the Seventies, is one of the oldest restaurants in Bangalore. With time the metal canopies have disappeared and tiled roofs
have taken their place, but the food is still as good as ever. The highlight of Tycoons' repertoire is the lunch buffet, which is great value for money. For dinner, there's an a la carte with north Indian and Chinese
selections. If the weather's good - which it almost always is in Bangalore - opt to sit outdoors. On cold winter nights, small charcoal braziers are put under every table, and you can enjoy the tandooris and butter masalas while toasting in its glow.
