Description:

Cuisine: Indian and Chinese
Average meal for two: US$ 3
The atmosphere is like that of a cafeteria with people sharing tables, quickly eating their food and moving on. But then, you don't go to Empire restaurant for atmosphere. If you're fussy, then there's an air- conditioned section where you can relax over your meal in some degree of quiet. Food,
the Indian section that is, is excellent by all accounts with soft parathas (pan fried bread), curries (not too spicy) and kebabs. Empire's grilled chicken is very famous and so is the biryani (Muslim rice pilaf). If the
menu confuses you, do ask the waiter for his ecommendation. As a rule they don't push what's spoiling in the kitchen and will suggest dishes which are popular and fresh. The Chinese menu is best left alone. The restaurant is open until 1 am, and is a good place to stop by after a long night of pub hopping.
