From the outside, Center Square looks like a big square pedestrian plaza, kind of like a southern Tiananmen Square. Unlike Tienanmen, the action here lies below - taking one of the escalators down brings you into a massive underground shopping plaza with stores and boutiques selling everything from shoes to hats, pedicures to hair weaves. There are also restaurants, video games, and various other rainy day diversions.
From the train station, Head north on Zhongshan road, cross Nanmen bridge, and the plaza is approximately 1 KM up on your right. Center Square is to the southwest of Zhengyang Pedestrian Mall.
