A true Shanghai institution, the Yifu theatre is where visitors and locals alike go to see genuine Beijing Opera performed by a variety of troupes. As in any theatre, ticket prices vary by seat, but unlike theatres in the west, low-priced seats are almost always available, ensuring that nobody is turned away.
