Description:
Things that seem too good to be true usually are. Take the Fukang Inn. We checked into this very lovely hotel taking up the top three floors of a seven story building early in the morning, and were surprised at the price - 238 RMB for a nice double room, complete with in-room ADSL, TV, and all the amenities you'd want for the price, including a spacious and sunny common area. It was only later that evening that we discovered the fundamental flaw with this hotel - the Fukang sits on top of a gigantic discothèque, and in the evenings the whole place vibrates. A great bargain for those who don't mind not being able to sleep before two AM.
