Description:

Anyone traveling in Yunnan Province is sure to run into stalls, carts and restaurants serving up a local treat called "Baba", a kind of pancake filled with a variety of ingredients, from fruit to chocolate to honey.

These pancakes differ pretty wildly from place to place. Up north, you'll get "Naxi Baba", which are thick, almost like moon cakes. In Kunming (where this photo was taken) they were not quite as thin as crepes, but much thinner then the northern baba. For reasons I've yet to fathom, this stall is called "Thailand Electric Hand Baba".
