Phai Lin serves good Thailand and Chinese food. Nice restaurant type with various choices of food. They also serve alcoholic drinks, I suppose. But it's a safe halal Thai and Chinese.

It's near the Kandawgyi Lake and if you drive ahead, leaving the restaurant behind, you'll find an Islamic Hall on your left after passing the first intersection that you saw.
