Description:

Shuncheng Jie, Kunming's once-famous Muslim food street, has been gentrified out of existence, and the block once housing scores of excellent Hui and Uigher restaurants is now more-or-less indistinguishable from any other generic Kunming block. However, those looking for Muslim cuisine in Kunming will be happy to know that a good slice of Shuncheng Jie's eateries have relocated about a kilometer to the east on Nanqiang Jie (???). If you're looking for Halal cuisine in Kunming, head East.
