Description:

Hi All!

I'm flying to Nepal the day after tomorrow (26 May,) and plan to spend four days in Kathmandu. I've heard you can get better deals walking up to the reception in Thamel hotels instead of booking online. Anyone know if that's true? Also, any suggestions for clean hotels in Thamel (or on the edges of Thamel) would be appreciated. The top range of my bedget is USD 50, though I'd prefer not to pay more than USD 30 a night.

Thanks
