Bosten Lake, the largest freshwater lake in China's Xinjiang Province, serves as a natural reservoir. The 1,000 square kilometers lake is a large fishery where a variety of fish grow. The lake is known as the Oriental Hawaii of Xinjiang because of its unique and beautiful scenery in the Gobi desert. Officially known as the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Xinjiang is the country's largest province in area, and is located in northwestern China.
Ta Prohm is one of the most popular jungle temples and well worth a visit. This temple is mostly unrestored, with massive kapok trees growing from its towers and corridors. Built as a Buddhist monastery, Ta Prohm was one of Jayavarman VII's first major temple projects, dedicated to his mother. In the days of Jayavarman VII, Ta Prohm was the headquarters of a vast hospital network from which supplies filtered out to hospitals located throughout the empire.

Turtle Mountain Island, located 10 kilometers off the coast of Toucheng in Yilan County, Taiwan, looks like a turtle floating in the sea, hence its name. The island has high cliffs, steaming fumaroles, welling underwater hot springs, mountain peaks, sea-eroded caves, a lake, and unique cliff vegetation, as well as a rich marine ecology. Since the Ching Dynasty, Turtle Mountain Island has been famous for its runrises. The best place to watch this spectacular sunrise is from Toucheng Beach or the mouth of the Lanyang River, between April and September.

June 21, 2002, Hong Kong. A very nice and hot Friday afternoon. Brazil faces England in the quarterfinals. Your friends are in Japan watching the game. Still, there are many places you can catch the game from Hong Kong. One of them is Times Square, one of Hong Kong's major shopping malls.
