Recipe: Singapore Apple Dessert
Serves about 8
2 tablespoons butter
4 large apples, peeled, cored and chopped into small pieces
4 tablespoons raisins
4 tablespoons coarsely ground walnuts
1 cup plain yogurt
4 tablespoons sugar
Melt butter in a frying pan, then sauté apples until they form a purée, adding more butter if necessary. Allow to cool.
In a bowl, combine all other ingredients, then mix with apple purée. Place in serving dishes, then chill and serve.
