Sunway Extreme Park

The Sunway Extreme Park is the first theme park in the country that offers you adrenaline-pumping sports and outdoor activities all in one location. The park is about 150 acres in size with a large lake in the middle, and has so many activities for the visitor that you simply do not know where to start. What is great about the Extreme Park is… it is not just for the thrill seekers! Those for want of something slower and more laidback are not left out as well. Perfect for the family where the father is out at the golf driving range, the son at the paintball field, the daughter learning how to dive, and the mother sipping coffee at one of the cafés! Here are the activities offered at the Sunway Extreme Park, from the slow to the high speeds ones!

Angling

Take a leisurely outing to the Sunway Extreme Park with your angling gear. You do not need to join in the mad rush of the other activities, instead just relax by the lake and spend some quiet time there. If you are in a competitive mood, then come join the competitions as there are always some events held at the park for the serious anglers.

Weekend Camp

Parents, if you want some time for yourself or just to encourage your child to enjoy some outdoor activities, you can enroll your child at the weekend camp. For a nominal fee, your child will be under the supervision of experienced counselors and he/she will get to experience camping life and enjoy the facilities available at the park. This is a good way for them to have some outdoor fun in a safe environment.

Petting Zoo

This is the country’s largest and definitely one of the best petting zoos around. Not only do you get to pet the animals, you can also join in the fun by having a go at riding the ostriches, or feeding the water otters.

Futsal

Got a group of friends who are into futsal? Then come to one of the finest futsal “field” in the Klang Valley! Smack right in the middle of the Sunway Extreme Park, the futsal court is well-maintained and boasts of high quality 500mm Synthetic Astro-Turf. This will give you the feel as if you are playing on real grass. And because there is so much space at the Extreme Park, you will not be confined by walls at the futsal court. Instead, it is set in a spacious and airy surrounding. That is the ultimate enjoyment of the game!

Golf

Family men who are avid golfers will no longer need to leave their family behind on weekends. Come over to the Sunway Extreme Park. While your wife and kids are enjoying themselves elsewhere, you get to have a go at the driving range. At the Sunway Option Driving Range, you will get the full range of facilities including a 100-bay driving range, a golfing development academy, a club repair center, professional custom fitting, and a pro shop. If you have plans for a corporate or private function, you can also approach the center to arrange the event for you.

Hours: 3:00 pm to 12:00 am (Mon) / 7:00 am to 12:00 am (Tue-Sun)

Prices: RM 10 for 100 balls / RM 5 for 50 balls

Water Sports

Jet skiing, wakeboarding and waterskiing are some of the available water sports at the Sunway Extreme Park. All these activities will take place at the beautiful 50-acre lake. The water is clear and clean, thanks to the natural ground spring. With this, you no longer need to travel far to enjoy water sports. You can have that fun right in the heart of the city!

Hours: 11:00 am to 7:00 pm (Mon-Sun)

Prices: RM 50 for Joy Ride (15 minutes)/ RM 100 for half hour/RM 200 for 1 hour

Diving

Want to learn how to dive? Get your PADI certification here. At Scuba Zone, beginners will get to learn how to dive as well as obtain their dive certification. Pros can train further as well. Apart from learning how to dive, you can also get your diving equipment serviced here. A variety of diving courses are available.

Hours: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm (Tue-Sun). Closed on Mondays.

Prices: RM 50 for 20 minutes

ATV

The all terrain vehicle (ATV) tracks are made suitable for beginners and professionals. The tracks will lead you through some interesting scenery (if you have time to pay attention to it) and challenges you at every corner. There are mini jungle tracks for the novices and advanced swamp for the experienced ones. Enjoy the thrill of high speed ATV through humps, bumps, and muddy tracks!

Hours: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm (Daily)

Prices: RM 60 for Scenic Ride (approximately 20 minutes)

Go-Kart

One of the best go-kart tracks in the country is found here at the Sunway Extreme Park. It is also one of the longest in Malaysia at a length of 1.3 kilometers and comes with hairpin bends, super high speed straights, and exciting chicanes to overcome. Best of all, it is built to international standards so you can expect to have maximum fun at exhilarating speeds!

Hours: 10.00 am to 10.00 pm (Mon-Sun)

Prices: RM 35 for 10 minutes / RM 65 for 20 minutes

Dirt Kart

Dirt kart is totally fun and will leave you wanting more. Not unlike go-kart, you get to speed off at a dirt track in a low kart made for rough terrain. This kart comes complete with a roll cage even.

Paintball

When this came about, Xtion Paintball was the first in the Klang Valley. There are several arenas to play at. There is also a jungle war zone. This promises a really heart-pumping game where all your senses are put to the test. Gears are available at a nominal fee.

Optional: Chest Protection Vest Rental - RM 6 / Target Practice (10 pellets per pax) - RM 10 

X Games Park

Also available at the Sunway Extreme Park is a section called the X Games Park. This specially constructed X Games Park is sometimes the venue for extreme sports. Some of the available games include inline skating, skateboarding, and BMXing. Perfect for extreme sports fans!

Food & Beverages

To recharge your body after some extreme fun, you can head to one of the available restaurants for a variety of food and drinks including local and western cuisine, seafood, grill, and BBQ. All these are provided at reasonable prices too.
