Recipe: Nasi Lemak - Steamed Coconut Rice
Serves about 6
1 1/2 cups rice, rinsed
1 1/2 cups coconut milk
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon of salt
Place all ingredients in a saucepan, then bring to boil. Cook over medium heat until all the liquid is absorbed, stirring a number of times, then cover. Turn off heat and allow to cook in own steam for another 30 minutes. Serve as side dish for all foods containing sauces.
