Recipe: Try Cai - Fruits In Syrup
Serves 6 to 8
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons pineapple juice
2 tablespoons lemon
1 medium orange, sectioned, then sections sliced in half
2 cups fresh pineapple, diced into 1/2 inch cubes
2 cups canned lichees
1 cup coconut milk
Place sugar and water in a saucepan, then stir and cook over medium heat for 6 minutes, adding a little water if necessary. Set aside syrup and allow to cool.
Place remaining ingredients in a serving bowl, then pour the syrup over the fruits and toss.
Chill in refrigerator, then serve.
