There was an air of camaraderie at the dragon boat festival in the Sai Kung district of Hong Kong, 25 June 2001 when competitors ended off their race by splashing water on each other with their paddles. The event, also known as Tuen Ng Festival, dates back 2000 years and is held on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. Hong Kong celebrates this public holiday in a big way, with races all over the city and new territories.
