Recipe: Fatut - Scrambled Eggs and Bread

Serves from 4 to 6

Makes a great breakfast dish.

4 tablespoons butter
2 cups small pieces of Arabic bread (pita)
5 eggs, beaten with 2 teaspoons zhug, 1 teaspoon hulbah and 1/8 teaspoon salt

Melt butter in a frying pan, then stir-fry bread pieces until they begin to brown. Pour eggs over bread. Stir for few minutes until eggs are cooked. Serve hot.
