Located near Atria Shopping Complex in Damansara Jaya, Restaurant Koon Kee is opened for both lunch and dinner. A coffee shop with various stalls serving a variety of food during the day, Restaurant Koon Kee is made famous by two stalls from 5 p.m. onwards. The first is a stall selling clay pot rice and double-boiled soup. While my preference is elsewhere, yet there seemed to be a huge crowd waiting for their clay pot rice each evening.

The second is the main stall that is located towards the back of the restaurant. Their specialty dish is spare ribs rice. The spare ribs is great with a delicious honey taste. If you are on a budget, just order the spare ribs rice. The portion is huge too. The stall also serve great assam chicken, sweet & sour pork rice, and ham choy soup (salted preserved vegetable soup). For a great meal of spare ribs, chicken and soup, which is enough for two persons, expect to pay less than RM15. Now, that's an inexpensive meal.
